A flat bottom driving method for the full-bridge driven switched reluctance motor

This paper proposes a flat bottom driving method for switched reluctance motor (SRM) by using full-bridge power converter. Based on ring structure, an SRM is able to be driven inverter. With the proposed topology, adding harmonics in sinusoidal current waveform from space vector PWM (SVPWM) method, can generated SRM. According theoretical analysis and calculation, reduces copper loss, compared SVPWM method. The topology are tested simulation experimental system, of which results that comparison shows contributes reduction simulated match well.
